I’ve been going to Wellnest’s Life Learning Center for a few years now. They’ve helped me with therapy, case management, and employment support. Recently, I received a scholarship from the SoLa I CAN Foundation worth $2,500 for my academic achievements and community involvement. Despite the pandemic and virtual learning, I made it to the Dean’s List in both the Fall and Spring Semesters of my senior year at California State University Dominguez Hills. After graduation, I plan to pursue a Master of Social Work degree and become a Licensed Social Worker to help my community. When I’m not studying, I enjoy attending fitness boot camps and spending time with my family and cats.
