Volunteer Position: Development & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator
Location:Â Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid or On-site)
Time Commitment:Â 4 hours per week

Volunteer Summary
We are seeking a passionate and organized volunteer to support Wellnest’s development and community engagement efforts. This role focuses on generating in-kind donations and coordinating volunteer opportunities that enhance our mission and impact.
In-Kind Donations
• Identify and cultivate relationships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to secure in-kind donations (e.g., hygiene kits, school supplies, clothing, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records of donations and ensure timely acknowledgment of donors
•Collaborate with program staff to assess and prioritize donation nee
Volunteer Engagement
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers for Wellnest events and initiatives
• Maintain regular communication with volunteers to ensure engagement and satisfaction
• Support volunteer appreciation efforts and help foster a positive volunteer experience
Qualifications
- Passion for community service and Wellnest’s mission
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or volunteer coordination is a plus
