Lasting positive change in our community is possible!

Advocacy is important to ensuring the children, young adults and families Wellnest supports receive the programs and funding they need to achieve their fullest lives. By raising awareness and championing the needs of our clients, we lift up their voices and help create a brighter future for them! Below are a few ways you can advocate on behalf of Wellnest.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Wellnest hosted Healing in Harmony: A Conversation on Youth Mental Health, Foster Care and Healing on Thursday, May 21, bringing together influential voices, community members, advocates, faith-based leaders and guests for an inspiring Mental Health Awareness Month and Foster Care Awareness Month panel discussion featuring Trinity Bailey, Co-Founder of Music is Unity Foundation with her father Philip Bailey, Brianna Betts, Co-Founder with her husband Markus Lynn, “Mookie” Betts, and Charlene Dimas-Peinado, President & CEO of Wellnest
