I am currently enrolled in Wellnest’s Home Visitation Program. My family has been in the program for the past year. We were going through a difficult time, with three young children under the age of five, and my husband out of work because of an injury. Our youngest child contracted COVID-19 and we also received an eviction notice. Through the Home Visitation Program, we were linked to community resources, including the Eviction Defense Network and Angelino Housing Aid, which helped us pay back rent and win our case in court. We are now stably housed and continue to participate in the program to nurture our children’s healthy development.
